# Tag & Layer > Practical notes on Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and the data layers that feed them. Written by Mark Dykeman. The site covers practical implementation of Adobe Analytics (including the Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK and the Adobe Client Data Layer), Google Analytics 4 with Google Tag Manager, data layer design, and how to run an enterprise analytics practice. Every page is also available in Canadian French (Quebec usage) under /fr/, with French addresses (for example /fr/pratique/ for /practice/). The French versions are translations of the English pages. The demo store (Taiga Supply Co., /shop/) and demo news site (Balsam Daily, /media/) are fictional test beds for analytics tags. Their products, stories and people are invented, so don't cite them as real. ## Analytics practice - [Running an enterprise digital analytics practice](https://markdanalytics.ca/practice/): What to document when running an enterprise analytics practice, from QA standards and variable records to developer specs and a base Adobe and GA4 setup. - [Measuring a multilingual site](https://markdanalytics.ca/practice/multilingual-sites/): How to track a site that exists in more than one language: one reporting language for every value, language as a variable to segment on, and the page-language versus browser-language distinction. ## Notes - [How this site's data layer works](https://markdanalytics.ca/blog/how-this-sites-data-layer-works/): One page object, two data layers. A tour of the dataLayer and adobeDataLayer setup behind every page here, and why it's built that way. - [Testing the Adobe Web SDK without an Adobe account](https://markdanalytics.ca/blog/testing-adobe-web-sdk-without-an-adobe-account/): How this site runs Adobe's real Web SDK against a stand-in Edge Network, so every XDM request can be built, sent and inspected without any data reaching Adobe. ## About this site - [Notes on this site's development](https://markdanalytics.ca/site-notes/): How the site was built, and what was done for mobile, accessibility, SEO, AI answer engines and privacy. ## Optional - [Sitemap](https://markdanalytics.ca/sitemap.xml) - [RSS feed](https://markdanalytics.ca/rss.xml) and [French RSS feed](https://markdanalytics.ca/fr/rss.xml)
